Dr. Penny was truly outstanding during my entire prosthodontics experience. She was incredibly knowledgeable and patient with me regarding any questions or concerns I had. I’ve been getting my dental services from Dr. Planzos/Impressive for over 25 years and I am always very happy and pleased with the care that I receive. From the friendly staff at the front desk to the efficient dental assistants in the back, you can be sure you are in very good hands. I can’t say enough good things about Impressive’s dental hygienists! They are both excellent. Pauline especially is so meticulous and thorough about cleaning your teeth that you will think you have a new set of teeth after she’s done! Dr. Planzo is like an artist. He takes great pride in his work and is such a perfectionist when it comes to your teeth. There are no cutting corners and no bs. He has the best equipment and is highly skilled at what he does. I go to the Periodontist. She is very Knowledable, caring, and thorough. The entire staff is very friendly, and helpful. They are not in my Dental plan, but I continue to go because of the type of service that is provided. I would recommend this Dental practice to anyone!

Great experience! Everyone from reception to hygienist to dentists were super nice and answered all my questions. I felt like the cleaning and checking was thorough. I also really appreciated how everyone took the time to tell me what they were doing in terms i could understand so i wasn’t thinking “yikes what does that mean?” when they were saying numbers to each other. Clean office and no wait time! Love supporting local and family businesses.

I’ve been a patient of Impressive Dental Care way before it operated under its current name. Not many people can say that they have been with the same dentist for 20+ years and now commute from a different borough to see him. Dr. Planzos and his staff are simply extraordinary. They are friendly, professional, thorough, and always in tune with the latest techniques and products. They are mindful of the value of my time; not wasting it with long wait periods. The office is impeccably maintained. As wonderful as the dentists and dental assistants are, the front desk staff is equally as impressive. Highly recommend all of them.

Absoluty the best dental experience of my life, everyones always a bit scared to go to the dentist , me especially but they made it as comfortable as possible . Had to get a tooth pulled and i thought she was joking when she said she finished cause i didnt feel a thing! the only slight discomfort im in is from keeping my mouth open causing my jaw to hurt. Not only did they help me overcome my fear of the dentist, they also helped me decide who my lifelong dentist will be . HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended.

I went for my 6 month visit at Dr. Planzos' office and as always, I was immensely pleased with the job Pauline did in cleaning my teeth. Pauline is truly an artist when it comes down to how thorough and meticulous she is at her craft. She has a confident sure hand and is very attuned to your comfort level. After my x-rays were taken, Dr. Penny Planzos came in to evaluate and discuss the results of the x-rays with me. Dr. Penny is another gem. She is efficient, professional, very observant and does a wonderful job at examining your teeth to make sure there are no problems. I love coming here. I think it's the only doctor's office where I can come in to shell out my hard-earned money and leave smiling happily about it!

She will inform you of all the details in a way that you'll understand everything that's happening in such a way that makes you feel safe and secured. She's placed two veneers for me and made sure that everything was perfect - the color of the veneers, the shape, the sizing, my bites, etc. Thanks to her, I am loving my smile! I had a cleaning with Pauline. By far the best hygienist I have ever had the pleasure of being treated by. The most thorough non painful precise cleaning you will ever have in your life. When you’re done getting the cleaning from Pauline you won’t need another one for a long time. Dr P is by far the best dentist you will ever go to. He won’t try to sell you anything he gives it to you straight and he lets you make your own decision but trust me it’s in your best interest to listen to what he has to say and do what he suggests.

The staff makes you feel at ease and both Dr. Thomas Planzos and Dr. Lea Planzos take their time to explain procedures to you and ease any fears. I would recommend them highly!
Visiting the dentist is not my favorite outing. That being said, I love the Planzos office staff, the doctors and the esthetics of the office environment. Ergo, I get over the discomfort of having to deal with the sensitivity in my mouth(real or not)! I’m confident I’m being given the best care available to keep my teeth in good condition. Kudos to all of you!!!
I visited the office for the first time on 12/4/17 after living with a rotten molar for a year. Within minutes of being greeted by the knowledgeable, courteous and approachable front end staff, I was examined by Dr. Lea Planzos in one of many modern and clean examining rooms where the solution to my malady was quickly determined. I was offered two options: a root canal or extraction. Within two hours, the molar, as well as an impacted wisdom tooth incased in my gums, were removed.
Dr. Planzos talked me through the process before and during the procedure and always paused to address my questions. Her Post-Op instructions were thorough, and I returned home with a bountiful self-care kit. At home, I bled more than expected and was welcomed back into the office where Dr. Planzos, along with her colleague (and father) Dr. Charles Planzos, diligently focused on my needs and insisted I stay until a clot formed. Honestly, I felt very welcome and comfortable doing so.

Dr. Lea Planzos is an excellent periodontist. Dr. Planzos is meticulous, patient and informative. She plans course of treatment with each patient and informs the patient of alternative treatments as well. I had a very challenging and difficult surgery and Dr. Planzos was well prepared with an alternative procedure which went very well. Follow- up to surgery is also outstanding. The support staff is great. I highly recommend Dr. Planzos.
